This post really isnt going to be much different than the one on the Drip and Diaz Show site. It's only been about 10 hours since that post and needless to say, not a lot happened in that time period.
Now its unusual for me to have a completely and utterly unproductive day, but hey it happens to us all. For me the past two days have been pretty damn boring. I haven't had anything to do. So I just chilled in the house most of the time. I spent a lot of time watching the news, and I'm not talking about the gimmicky local crap. I'm talkin about CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other channels like that, and I swear I've never seen more outrageous shit being talked about. I don't mean outrageous in the sense that it was offensive, in fact it was quite the opposite. The lengths that people go to these days to not offend anyone, and furthermore how easily people are offended. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are we not dealing with a war across the world, and economy that could use a bit of fixing and a bunch of rediculous ass gas prices? I think thats a bit more important than worrying about gender specific signs. we have got a few fucked up priorities up in here.
Uncle Jesse?
Since when did black holes become a racial slur? I swear that anything with the word black in it can be contrived to mean something racial these days. apparently people in Dallas are a little sensitive…
County commissioners were discussing problems with the central collections office that is used to process traffic ticket payments and handle other paperwork normally done by the JP Courts.
Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections “has become a black hole” because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.
Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud “Excuse me!” He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a “white hole.”
That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.
Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term.
And speaking of black things, that nothing Jesse Jackson seems to have a bit of egg on his face after saying that he would like to “cut [Obama's] nuts off.” Now I’m not a racist by any means, but I’m happy that any time one of these idiots says something to make them look like complete jackasses. Who’s more racist? Uncle Jessie or Jesse Jackson? They seem to look awfully similar these days.
Men Working. Thats right! Men!
How many women do you see working in a construction site? well if you ever did see any I’m sure that you probably mistook them for men. Understandable. you aren’t sexist don’t worry but thats just according to your boy Diaz. Apparently Cynthia Good doesn’t agree with me.
n the battle of the sexes, women’s magazine editor Cynthia Good said this was a skirmish she had to fight.
Across Atlanta they stood, orange signs with black letters that read “Men At Work” or “Men Working Ahead.”
Sometimes, the signs stood next to women working alongside the men.
Good demanded Atlanta officials remove the signs and last week, Atlanta Public Works Commissioner Joe Basista agreed.
Personally I think that Joe Basista looks more like a woman than any female construction worker.
iPhone 3G I think the 3G stands for 3000 geeks waiting for a phone that they already have
