Keep it Clean!

Posted on the September 25th, 2008 under Uncategorized by bryantdiaz

Hey people. Diaz here, or I should say Mr. Diaz! yes today I took my first foray into the world of education. It was interesting to say the least. More or less I sat and watched the same lesson be taught 4 different times. Dispite the fact that I didnt raelly do all that much it was very eye opening. I saw in myself that I really want to do this and that I want more than anything to be finished with school so that I can get out and teach. Though there was a fun awkward moment as I was trying to use the restroom and there were 3 kids dicking around in the handicap toilet. well as te one using the toilet comes out and realized that I needed to use the stall he had a real horses ass look on his face and I told him that I would appreciate it if he flushed the toilet. He goes back in to try and with the shit combined with the tons of toilet paper that they had stuffed into the toilet it was unable to go down. so after I made them feel like shit I just left and went to another bathroom. Stupid kids... oh well I suppose theres some in every bunch! Anyways, I spotted this trailer on Bungie.net and am wondering what the hell it is for. From what I can gather it takes place during Halo 2 after the Prophet of Regret jumps into slipspace to the Delta Halo. Check it out!

Just one of those days

Yeah I have been nothing but unmotivated this entire damn day. I think most of it stems to the fact that I feel like I look like shit! I just cant stand it! its getting bad. I mean its a stupid self image problem that is branching out to be so much more than just that. anyways I took the liberty of making a nice video blog about how I feel. It doesn't help the fact that all my friends are around here so I just want to leave so I can go chill with them. Unmotivation, today you are my friend, but tomorrow you will once again become my enemy!

Well lets try this again. Well if you havent been keeping up with me (shame on you!) the you wouldnt know about this amazing new feature on this beautiful website. Let me be the first to announce to you KRPL the internets first (maybe) network focused on gimpy activities and on anything else that you can think of! Not sounding too entertaining for you? Well let me explain. This is not some kind of after school special telling you to be nice to gimpy people. KRPL as I explain in my blog is an old running joke going back to when we wanted to get some guests on our show and when we asked how we did that, we were told to just make up a network. well what better than KRPL Radio? All cripple all the time! Great tagline right? well there ya go! It is my mission to bring HAHA's to all of my listeners/watchers.

The Drip and Diaz show is going back to pure podcast form. No video at all. now that doesn't mean that the video will disappear completely. We have got a few ideas in the works on that front to keep you all entertained.

And on a personal note, I hate 6 am and I wish that it would just die. That is all. Diaz OUT!

Murderball ain’t got nothin on me! Well, not yet, but soon!

I think that most of us have seen the movie Murderball. Well I'm thinking about picking up an HD camera and starting to chronicle events pertaining to sled hockey, school, and just life in general. I'm hoping that at the end of it I can get something very interesting and make something out of it. possibly a movie, maybe just a weekly blogcast. I just dont know. But I'm hoping for the best. That being said, I've got a few hockey tournaments coming up. The first one in November and then the next in January, February and March. One of them is here in Phoenix at the Ice den. I'm thinking it might be interesting to get a few people together to come along with me and maybe spend a weekend up there doing something. could be drinking, clubbing, who knows! just a thought at this point. I love my team to death, but they are boring as sin! None of them really want to go out and do anything ever, and thats fine. I get that they are older than me for the most part, but I'm just sayin. School is just about to start up again and I'm thinking about putting that in this little project as well. to what extent I'm not sure. but hell its worth a shot. The football games will be fun times to film along with just shots of the campus and whatnot. maybe even to a point we can get some footage of the classroom. Im hoping that the same can be said about my volunteer work at Pinnacle this semester. I'm volunteering at Pinnacle in Mr. Anderson's class. I tell you what, I'm looking forward to getting back to Pinnacle. Its been way too damn long, and anyone who knows me knows that I pretty much live in the past and love high school, so why not make it my job? I've seen life from all different sides since my accident. Wheelchair looking on to walking people, football player turned coach, and now student turned teacher. It's very funny to actually step back and see the fact that I have done all that. There are two sides to every coin I suppose and I plan to explore all of them. I feel like its time in my life to get out and experience everything! I've sat around and watched life go by for far too long. Time to take life by the horns and do some shit!

Sometimes…

Its really hard to make a decision. Even if it is a decision that at the core of yourself, you know the right choice. People make a bunch of meaningless ones every day so it is so hard when the rare important one comes up. It sucks when both choices have more or less the same results. ugh! kill me!

I know, I know…

This post really isnt going to be much different than the one on the Drip and Diaz Show site. It's only been about 10 hours since that post and needless to say, not a lot happened in that time period.  Now its unusual for me to have a completely and utterly unproductive day, but hey it happens to us all. For me the past two days have been pretty damn boring. I haven't had anything to do. So I just chilled in the house most of the time. I spent a lot of time watching the news, and I'm not talking about the gimmicky local crap. I'm talkin about CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other channels like that, and I swear I've never seen more outrageous shit being talked about. I don't mean outrageous in the sense that it was offensive, in fact it was quite the opposite. The lengths that people go to these days to not offend anyone, and furthermore how easily people are offended. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are we not dealing with a war across the world, and economy that could use a bit of fixing and a bunch of rediculous ass gas prices? I think thats a bit more important than worrying about gender specific signs. we have got a few fucked up priorities up in here. Uncle Jesse? Since when did black holes become a racial slur? I swear that anything with the word black in it can be contrived to mean something racial these days. apparently people in Dallas are a little sensitive… County commissioners were discussing problems with the central collections office that is used to process traffic ticket payments and handle other paperwork normally done by the JP Courts. Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections “has become a black hole” because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office. Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud “Excuse me!” He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a “white hole.” That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy. Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term. And speaking of black things, that nothing Jesse Jackson seems to have a bit of egg on his face after saying that he would like to “cut [Obama's] nuts off.” Now I’m not a racist by any means, but I’m happy that any time one of these idiots says something to make them look like complete jackasses. Who’s more racist? Uncle Jessie or Jesse Jackson? They seem to look awfully similar these days. Men Working. Thats right! Men! How many women do you see working in a construction site? well if you ever did see any I’m sure that you probably mistook them for men. Understandable. you aren’t sexist don’t worry but thats just according to your boy Diaz. Apparently Cynthia Good doesn’t agree with me. n the battle of the sexes, women’s magazine editor Cynthia Good said this was a skirmish she had to fight. Across Atlanta they stood, orange signs with black letters that read “Men At Work” or “Men Working Ahead.” Sometimes, the signs stood next to women working alongside the men. Good demanded Atlanta officials remove the signs and last week, Atlanta Public Works Commissioner Joe Basista agreed. Personally I think that Joe Basista looks more like a woman than any female construction worker. iPhone 3G I think the 3G stands for 3000 geeks waiting for a phone that they already have

Well hey there! Long time no see!

Hey there people. Diaz here once again! I know its been a bit since we have seen an update here on the ol site. What can I say? I've been busy playing Metal Gear Solid 4. Which is by far the greatest game ever created by man! I must say that it even beats out on Final Fantasy VII. I'm not quite done with the game yet but when I am, expect to see a full review on the game on here. I'll give you a small preview, its a mothafuckin 10 out of 10! lol On another note, I know you have all been wondering where the Drip and Diaz show has gone. Well we took a small break this last week because Jason was out of town visiting his girl in California. But now the goose is back and we are broadcasting tonight! It should be a big show tonight. We got plenty to talk about and our new movie review segment with ur boy Warren P3ac3. yes I love l33t speak too...yuck! so come and join us tonight at 9 to 11. SPREAD THE WORD!

DAGGETTFEST 08!

Posted on the June 1st, 2008 under Uncategorized by bryantdiaz

Well yesterday was the memorial for one John Kyle Daggett. I was so happy to see how many people showed up for it. It just shows how great of a guy that Kyle was and how many lives he has touched, including mine. The service was really wonderful. I was crying like a freakin baby for a good two hours during the whole thing. There was a point where they started a picture montage and I just lost it! lol. It was great to see so many people that I haven't seen in years. Its unfortunate that we all had to meet up again under these circumstances but what can ya do? more on this later!
